2018 Proposed Constitutional Amendments

Get a head start on your amendment reading for this year's election!

There are twelve (12) Proposed Constitutional Amendments which will be on the ballot statewide in Florida during this General Election in November. Three (3) are Legislative Referrals passed by House Joint Resolution, two (2) are Citizen Initiatives which made ballot position through the collection of petition signatures and seven (7) are the final proposals from the Constitution Review Commission (CRC). The CRC meets once every twenty years to review Florida's Constitution and this will certainly be a historic number of amendments on the ballot for Flagler County. Use the links below to view the full ballot text of the amendments.

After a final decision by the Florida Supreme Court, Amendment 8 (School Board Term Limits and Duties; Public Schools) has been removed from the ballot. This item will not appear on the ballot in Flagler County.

In addition to these 12 amendments, the City of Palm Coast Council approved three charter amendment items. City of Palm Coast voters will decide these items in November 2018 for a grand total of 15 issues on the ballot.
